Olde 1811 Antique Shoppe
2 Austerlitz Street
Chatham, NY 12037
“Great historical building filled with great treasures.”
“Beautiful store … walk through and everywhere you look you find something amazing …. MAGICAL PLACE !!”
“Delightful shop with an array of wonderful antiques and gifts.”
In 1811, Chatham, New York’s oldest (now haunted) building was erected, later called “Groat’s Tavern,” where President Martin Van Buren was a frequent patron. Rumor has it he knocked a few too many libations back during his “Society of the Detection of Horse Thieves” meetings. Lucky for him, riding drunk wasn’t illegal, and his trusted stallion knew the way home.
Olde 1811 Antique Shoppe busts at the seams with treasures for collectors, homeowners & designers!
